How to get to The Kendleshire.
PLEASE NOTE: BROMLEY HEATH VIADUCT WORKS ON A4174 (July 2017-Easter 2018).
We have been given the following advice by South Gloucestershire Council and the Highways Agency that due to the ongoing works on one secion of the Avon Ring Road (A4174):-
- ALL VISITORS should avoid the M32/Junction 19 of the M4;
- ALL VISITORS using the motorway network to get to us should take the M4 to Junction 18, and use the A46/B4465 and Westerleigh Roads to access us, as per the instructions below;
- ANY VISITORS using the A4174 to get to us may face severe delays during peak times and around peak times.
Leave the M4 at the Junction 18 exit, from the roundabout follow the signs towards Stroud (A46), after 50 yards take the left turn towards Codrington (B4465), stay on this road for 4-5 miles.
You will go over a small railway bridge, from which take the third road on the right (this is Henfield Road, signposted with a brown “golf course” sign).
Stay on this road and you will find the entrance to 'The Kendleshire' on your left after about 600 yards.
The closest train station is Bristol Parkway. Please note: Bristol Parkway will be closed for works from 2nd September until 15th September. During this time there will be a range of alternative arrangements in place, including some trains stopping at other stations and bus replacement services.
The next nearest main train station is Bristol Temple Meads.
We do not currently have accommodation on site, but we are happy to recommend a number of Local Places to Stay.
